Required Textbooks: Welcome

   If you are unable to obtain the required textbook(s), you can request up to 10% of the text from the library and we will do our best to get it for you!  Click here to request!

While the university has transferred online, the library is making an effort to locate all Required Textbooks in ebook format. Please check the following pages for more information!

A couple sites to check out are Red Shelf and VitalSource, where you might be able to rent or purchase your required textbooks as ebooks. Below are instructions on how to create accounts on either site.

How to access RedShelf and VitalSource:

RedShelf:

• Follow this link
• Click "Log In" (upper right hand corner) OR Search for the book in the search bar, click "View Details" beside the book you want
• You will be taken to a log-in screen. Select "Create an Account", and use your Oak Point email.
• You will be sent an email to verify your account. Go to your email and "Verify Account" via the link provided.
• Remember to save the link to your RedShelf bookshelf.

VitalSource:

• Follow this link
• Choose "Sign In" in the top right corner.
• Create a new account: click "Create a VitalSource account", and use your Oak Point email.
• You will be sent an email to verify your account. Go to your email and "Confirm Your Email" via the link provided.
• Remember to save the link to your VitalSource bookshelf.
